Who Have We Trained?

Below are a few of our past ACP Hockey Factory Alumni!

STEVEN STAMKOS

Working with Austin allowed me to come into the season with confidence. His unique skill drills and mind for the game allows him to prepare his clients for whatever level necessary.

Not only did he help me, but his educational background allows him to interact with children of all ages. My 5-year-old son loved working with Austin as well, in a fun but challenging environment.

Karsen Dorwart - Michigan State University

"I was very fortunate to have been able to work with Austin growing up. I worked with him from the time I was 14 until I was 17. During this time I saw a big jump in my game and it showed in the way I played. He chose every lesson plan so it would cater to me and the situations you see the most in games. The lesson plans always had some form of compete which I believe brought the most out of everyone."

Tanner Bruender - Greenbay Gamblers USHL

"I was very fortunate to be able to work with Austin as a kid, especially coming from such a small hockey market as Portland. Austin helped me improve all areas of my game to help me get to the next level. He’s able to incorporate skills and compete into drills that help put you into real game situations, that help you be prepared for anything. Austin doesn’t try to change your game, he brings out what makes you the best version of yourself. Austin was a big part of what helped me be successful today."

Rylan Oster - Okotok Oilers (BCHL)

"Austin and I worked together starting at a young age. At a young age he helped me grow my knowledge, passion, and skill for the game. He made coming to the rink fun with the relationship we built together, and I felt like I got better everyday. The aspect where I felt like I made the biggest jump was comfortably with the puck on my stick and ability to make plays in tight areas."

Morgan Winters - University of New Hampshire

"Austin has helped me in all areas of the game whether it be on the ice or mentally. He is very specific and detailed in his work and it has helped me grow as a person on and off the ice. He has been so informative and has the ability to not only teach aspects of the game but demonstrate at a high level. Working with Austin the past couple years has helped me make a big jump in college hockey."

Billie Jacobson-Couch - Ogden Mustangs NCDC

"I am grateful that I was able to learn from Austin at such a young age in a place where Hockey wasn’t very big. He is someone who dedicated his time and effort into making me and many more a better hockey player on and off the ice. He was able to help me build my confidence as an undersized player and specified his training to what a certain player needed to work on. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him and I can’t thank him enough for what he has done for me as a person and as a Hockey player."

Keaton Verhoeff - Victoria Royals WHL

"Last summer I travelled down to train with Austin. I was there for a week of on ice skill work. Austins background of hockey gives him in game experience to apply to skill work. The things I learnt from Austin gave me the confidence and tools to have a successful year. Austin is a great person and teacher for kids all ages and can help you unlock the next level of your game."

Nathan Behm - Kamloops Blazers WHL

"I was fortunate enough to come down during Covid from Canada to train with Austin. When everyone else in Canada was not training I got ahead with my skills and gameplay. Austins drills are very detailed and game like. I appreciated everything he helped me with. I come down to train with him still when my schedule allows it."

Owen Arend - Islanders NCDC Southern Maine University

"I’m thankful to have been able to skate with Austin for the last four years. Quality hockey training as a Junior age player is few and far between, especially in Florida. He comes from a high level hockey background, and the skills we work on in our sessions translate into our seasons. Our lessons are a big part of where I am in my hockey career today."
