James Toth

Coaching Career: My coaching career began in 1996, when my little brother, 14 years the younger, found himself on a mite team that was without a coach. From 1996, spanning nine years, I rose through the ranks of youth hockey coaching, from mite through midget, A to AA, travel to High School, and even summer elite teams. My coaching career ended in 2005, having joined the military, I was serving my first of multiple overseas deployments. Serving alongside elite forces, my comprehension of the word team was elevated, it emphasized the importance of roles, trust in your team-mates, and how to foster unbreakable bonds. I left the military in 2019, yearning to get back behind the bench, finding myself in the hockey hot bed of Tampa.

Coach

Jacob Breckles

Born and raised in Canada, hockey has been my entire world since the age of three. I grew up immersed in the game, learning from some of the best minds, trainers and coaches in the sport and competing with—and against—top talent from a young age. Through those experiences, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to reach the highest levels of the game... and what it takes to lose it all just as quickly, because I have lived it.
Today, I channel those lessons into my work with the next generation. I preach good habits on and off the ice, because becoming a great hockey player starts with becoming a disciplined, respectful, and attentive human being. My goal isn’t just to build better athletes—it’s to help shape strong individuals who carry the values of the game into every part of their lives.

Playing Career:

  • 10 years of AAA hockey in Ontario (OMHA & GTHL)
  • Drafted 5th Round 81st Overall to the Barrie Colts in the OHL Priority Selection
  • Made Juniors at 16 and played first 2 seasons with Stouffville Spirit (OJHL)
  • Played last 2 seasons of Juniors for the Coburg Cougars & Wellington Dukes (OJHL)
winning championships and division titles (2018-19 Ranked 5th in Canada and
    2019-2020 Ranked 2nd in Canada)
  • Accepted a scholarship to Adrian College (NCAA DIII) in Michigan at 19 becoming
the youngest player in program history
  • Won NCAA National Championship in 2022 along with 3 conference championships

Coach

Roman Dubovskoi

Roman Dubovskoi Born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I’ve been involved in hockey since the age of 4, playing for the SKA team. We became city and regional champions 11 times and consistently ranked in the top 8 teams in Russia. In my personal stats, I was always in the top 3 in team points. I played one season professionally in the MHL. After finishing my hockey career, I earned a degree from Lesgafta University, specializing in ice hockey coaching. Currently, I have over 10 years of experience working with young athletes and professional hockey players. I believe that only hard work, discipline, genuine desire, and a bit of luck can help you become the person you want to be. In every practice, I place a lot of emphasis on power skating, hand work, and game situations. I strive to provide drills that push players out of their comfort zone, helping them make quick and smart decisions in any game scenario. Over the past year in the U.S., seven of my athletes have advanced from AA to AAA teams such as Team Illinois, Storm & Phantoms. If you love hockey with all your heart, have a clear vision of your goal, and are ready to go all out, I would be happy to help you and do everything possible to help you achieve it!
