DEFENSEMAN / DEFENSIVE PLAY SUMMER CAMP JULY 21 - 25 ages 7-9 & 10-13

8:00am drop-off - 3:00pm pick up: 2+ hours of ice per/day. 1 hour workout per day. Recreational indoor/ outdoor games. 8 spots available per age group.

Each week will target a specific area of development tailored for defensemen. Players will work on puck handling under pressure, crisp passing and playmaking from the blue line, defensive zone skating and footwork, smart gap control, effective body contact, and applying these skills in game-like scenarios with and without live pressure.

The program is designed to deliver results that translate immediately to real games, helping defensemen read plays better, win more battles, and make confident plays with the puck.

Off-ice workouts will be age-appropriate and develop all the key athletic building blocks for a strong, mobile defenseman: sprinting, plyometrics, functional strength training, mobility, and conditioning.

Your athlete will finish this program in the best shape of their life — skating stronger, defending smarter, and playing their best hockey.

When we train, we train with intensity, but we will have a lot of fun things for the kids to do outside of their hockey training and workouts. We want them to enjoy the process of getting better and being in a positive environment.
